Frasers Property is honoured to be recognised as one of the Champions of Good by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) for being an exemplary leader and multiplier of corporate giving in Singapore.
This year’s recognition of Frasers Property inspires us further in our purpose-led journey. For companies like Frasers Property, doing good is integral to doing business. We believe that when we combine the passion of our employees, the power of the Frasers Property brand, and the voices of our customers and partners, we can positively impact lives around us.
Launched by NVPC in 2017, the Champions of Good programme acts as a national recognition framework designed to catalyse the corporate giving movement and celebrate organisations’ achievements in establishing good collaborative working relations with their partners and stakeholders. NVPC is an independent not-for-profit organisation that advocates giving in Singapore.

Key highlights of Frasers Property’s corporate giving in Singapore
Since 2017, we have supported the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) , which establish a clear framework for how businesses can work towards creating a more equitable and climate-positive future by 2030. Frasers Property’s sustainability goals are aligned to where our business can make the most significant impact, including fostering community connectedness by developing strong partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders from across the industry and implementing community investment initiatives to maintain a healthy relationship with different groups of people.
Using a data-driven approach to understand the unique needs of each of our communities, we design and implement every project in consultation with local community representatives to benefit people in every possible way.
Aligned with our sustainability framework, our Community Investment Framework focuses on three areas we believe we can make the greatest transformative impact – health, education, and the environment. Underpinning our framework is our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and innovation.
Health & Wellbeing
We have an ongoing partnership with the Red Cross Societies across Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. In 2021, we received the United for Humanity Award for our contributions to Singapore Red Cross.
In our malls, we supported Singapore’s Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) efforts to activate public health campaigns by offering complimentary use of venue spaces. These initiatives included exhibitions to host weekly workout sessions for Singaporeans to lead healthier lives. Across our commercial properties, we also organised virtual sessions to advocate physical and mental wellness for tenants and occupiers.
At the onset of the pandemic in 2020 in Singapore, our employees came together to bundle 5,000 care packs for migrant workers under our volunteer initiative, Pack It With Love, as a way of sending our appreciation to migrant workers for their strong contribution to Singapore’s built environment.
Education
Inclusive Spaces is Frasers Property’s key community investment initiative aimed at building more inclusive communities via a design conversation around real estate spaces that allow for better physical, functional and social inclusion. To co-create and reimagine better real estate places that promote active ageing and intergenerational bonding, we collaborated with Design For Change and challenged more than 100 primary school students and 25 active seniors for Inclusive Spaces 2021. With the support of our employees as mentors, participants were challenged to utilise Design Thinking techniques to design accessible spaces that promote the well-being of our seniors. Through this initiative, we hope to enable inclusive changes in real estate with better-designed amenities to realise better spaces and strengthen communities.
Environment
Our annual Environment Month themed ‘Build to Zero’, is our multi-year commitment to achieving net-zero carbon by 2050. In 2021, activations were focused on reducing employees’ carbon footprint by pledging eco-friendly choices and leading sustainable lifestyles. Locally, a team of employees volunteered in a National Parks Board tree planting session at MacRitchie Reserve while globally, our properties participated in our annual commitment to Earth Hour by switching off nonessential lighting.
Championing greater good
Frasers Property will continue to strive towards being a champion of good in business so we can all bring about a greater collective impact in our community. We want to continue working with NVPC and other like-minded partners, across the over 20 countries we are in, to make a greater and measurable impact in local communities.
