Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Frasers Hospitality, a strategic business unit within Frasers Property, Chin Fen oversees its international hospitality and lodging business.
Chin Fen joined Frasers Property in 2011 and was formerly the CEO of the Managers of Frasers Hospitality Trust from its listing in July 2014 to June 2019 and April 2021 to January 2023. She was the Chief Investment Officer of Frasers Hospitality International from July 2019 to April 2021, reporting to the CEO of Frasers Hospitality, responsible for developing and implementing the business and investment strategies of the hospitality business.
Before joining Frasers Property, Chin Fen was Senior Vice President of the Asset-Backed Securitisation team at DBS Bank, responsible for the origination and listings of real estate investment trusts and business trusts in Singapore.
Chin Fen serves as a Board of Director for the National Parks Board, Singapore. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Chin Fen holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Financial Analysis from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Chief Investment Officer
Jason is the Chief Investment Officer of Frasers Hospitality and is responsible for optimising Frasers Hospitality’s real estate portfolio through investment, divestment and asset management. His experience in hospitality real estate investment and business development spans over 14 years.
Jason was previously the Senior Vice President of investment at Shorea Capital from 2022 to 2023. Preceding that, he was the Head of Investment at Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) between 2018 to 2022 where he was responsible for developing and executing FHT’s investment strategy. Prior to the listing of FHT, he was Deputy Director of Business Development at Frasers Hospitality and headed its business development and investments across the Southeast Asia and Australia regions.
Throughout his career, Jason has accumulated extensive overseas working experience. He was based in New York, USA with the Overseas Singaporean Unit at the National Population and Talent Division, Prime Minister's Office from 2009 to 2012. He was also formerly with The Ascott Group Limited under the business development and investment functions. He started his career with the Singapore Trade Development Board (currently known as Enterprise Singapore) and had a 3-year stint as its Centre Director in Manila, Philippines.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of Frasers Hospitality, Hang Song leads the development and execution of the operational strategy.
Hang Song assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Head of North Asia in 2020 and joined Frasers Hospitality in early 2019 as Deputy Country General Manager, and subsequently Country General Manager in the same year to oversee the Greater China region. Hang Song has been instrumental in strengthening Frasers Hospitality’s presence and brand equity in North Asia and fostered significant in-market relationships with key stakeholders.
Before his tenure at Frasers Hospitality, Hang Song led operations in Hong Kong and Macau for The Ascott Limited for over seven years. Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Hang Song held positions in the aviation and government sectors.
Hang Song holds a first-class honours degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He has also completed a Management Development programme in Asia Hospitality from Nanyang Business School.
Managing Director, Technology and Innovation
As Managing Director of Technology and Innovation at Frasers Hospitality, Ian leads and executes the organisation’s global information technology infrastructure and transformation as well as innovation strategy to enhance the organisation’s capabilities to elevate the guest, resident and employee experience across Frasers Hospitality’s growing lodging portfolio.
Ian has been driving technology and innovation across a wide range of industries, spanning across the public sector, manufacturing, and financial services with over 28 years of extensive experience in digital transformation. Prior to joining Frasers Hospitality, Ian held leadership positions in several conglomerates and most recently served as Chief Information Officer at DFI Retail Group where he was responsible for the foundational technologies that supported the business. He is also an active adjunct senior fellow at the Singapore University of Technology & Design.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems from Pace University in New York, USA.
