Frasers Property Vietnam, a diversified and fully integrated investor, developer and asset manager of industrial and logistics, commercial, and residential properties in Vietnam recently inaugurated a new computer lab at Phu My Secondary School, the largest public high school in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province. This was part of its community investment initiative that saw 49 desktop computers and desks totaling 700 million VND donated to the school. The company's employees have also volunteered to renovate the computer lab, ensuring a conducive learning environment that would help improve students' access to information technology and foster digital literacy among its nearly 2,500-strong student population.
Sharing at the event, Mr. Edwin Tan, Deputy CEO, Frasers Property Vietnam and Managing Director, Industrial & Logistics for Southeast Asia, said, "Frasers Property strives to do good for the community wherever we operate, and we are honored to support the development of Vietnam’s next generation of youth. We hope that with the right digital resources and training, students at Phu My Secondary School will be able to awaken their passion for learning and develop the necessary skills to succeed in the new digital economy.”
