Frasers Property Australia has revealed Montessori Academy as the new childcare centre operator at Midtown MacPark, Sydney’s next great urban neighbourhood in the heart of Macquarie Park.
With over 40 childcare centres across Australia, Montessori Academy is renowned for their outstanding Montessori early learning programs and state-of-the-art facilities. The new Midtown MacPark childcare centre will welcome infant, toddler and preschool children across vibrant Montessori classrooms and play areas to inspire each child’s life-long love for learning.
“At Montessori Academy, our guiding philosophy is to nurture the uniqueness of each child while respecting their individual, cultural, and family background. We do this through positive interactions with our students, their families, and our team,” says Montessori Academy Founder and CEO Charles Assaf.
“Midtown is an all-inclusive community hub that we are incredibly honoured to be a part of. We are confident that Montessori Academy will be an invaluable asset to local families, as we partner together to raise bright and independent children.
“Early education plays a pivotal role in children’s development. My own children have experienced the ingenuity of Montessori education, and I cannot wait to share Doctor Maria Montessori’s legacy with the Midtown community,” Mr Assaf says.
Montessori Academy is devoted to preparing the whole child’s social, cognitive, academic, and developmental needs in a long day care format. A typical day in a Montessori classroom involves a morning work cycle where children engage in intuitive Montessori learning materials, followed by holistic activities including group time, music, craft, movement, and school readiness.
The 1,450 sqm childcare and early learning centre at Midtown MacPark will cater for 75 to 90 children and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2023, with 12 designated car spaces in the car park.
“At Midtown MacPark our vision is to create a vibrant, family friendly neighbourhood. Interest from families looking for apartments has been particularly strong, and an onsite childcare centre is an essential piece of social infrastructure future residents and locals will need, Nigel Edgar, General Manager Development NSW, Frasers Property Australia.
“We’re pleased to welcome an experienced operator in Montessori Academy, whose vision for an inclusive learning environment aligns with ours for Midtown MacPark – creating a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone,” Mr Edgar says.
