Frasers Property Limited (“Frasers Property” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Frasers Property Group”), today in a statement reiterates its commitment to advance and empower women at the workplace in response to the 10th Anniversary of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a joint initiative of United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the United Nations Global compact.
Frasers Property has made progressive efforts to ensure women’s empowerment and gender equality in the organisation. Adding female representation on the Boards across the Group, it has since welcomed on board Ms Soh Onn Cheng Margaret Jane, as Nomination and Remunerations Chair for Frasers Commercial Trust, and Ms Ong Choon Fah as Audit Committee Chairman for Frasers Centrepoint Trust on 1 July 2019 and 30 September 2019 respectively. Furthermore, Frasers Property has taken concerted effort to ensure a healthy female-to-male employee ratio. More than 45% of our global employees are female, whereas women represent more than 35% of our senior management team.
