Frasers Property launches "Yishun 10 Memories" ahead of redevelopment, inviting the public to contribute stories, photographs, memorabilia and materials to document the community’s memories and experiences.
SINGAPORE, 2 SEPTEMBER 2026
Frasers Property Limited (“Frasers Property”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) has announced plans to redevelop Yishun 10, its retail mall located in Yishun town centre, into a new mixed-use development. At the same time, it has launched “Yishun 10 Memories”, an initiative to document and celebrate the building’s place in the community.
To lead this effort, Frasers Property has engaged renowned placemaking consultant Studio Lapis to develop a community initiative that captures the site’s stories and shared experiences, traces its evolution as one of Singapore's pioneering suburban entertainment destinations and identifies opportunities to incorporate elements of these shared memories into the future development.
Preliminary plans include upcycling selected artefacts from Yishun 10, exploring opportunities to feature community stories, artworks and interpretive murals within the future development, and compiling a collection of memories and materials contributed by the community.
As part of “Yishun 10 Memories”, Frasers Property is inviting the public, including former and current patrons, residents, and tenants, to share memories, photographs, memorabilia and other materials on Yishun 10. Interested individuals can email their contributions to yishun10memories@studiolapis.sg by 31 October 2026, together with a brief introduction, their connection to Yishun 10 and contact details. Materials received after this date may still be considered. Frasers Property is also exploring ways for the community to come together and celebrate their shared memories and experiences of Yishun 10. Further details on the plans will be shared in due course.
Ms Soon Su Lin, Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Singapore, said: “Yishun 10 holds a special place in the hearts of many Singaporeans who grew up in its immediate community. Through Yishun 10 Memories, we invite the community to share their stories, memories and experiences, as we embark on the next chapter of the Yishun Central site with a new mixed-use development that supports evolving lifestyle needs and aspirations.”
Located next to Yishun MRT Station and Yishun Integrated Transport Hub, the new development will offer seamless access to Northpoint City via the existing underground pedestrian network.
Yishun 10 will be redeveloped into a mixed-use development comprising approximately 110 residential units and a retail podium at street level. Targeted for launch in mid-2027 with completion in 2031, it will be the first residential launch in Yishun Central in more than a decade.
Located next to Yishun MRT Station and Yishun Integrated Transport Hub, the new development will offer residents seamless access to Northpoint City via the existing underground pedestrian network. Northpoint City is the largest suburban mall in Singapore's northern region and is owned by the Group through Frasers Centrepoint Trust.
The site is also surrounded by healthcare, recreational and community amenities, including Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, SAFRA Yishun, schools, parks and community facilities. With convenient access to the upcoming North-South Corridor, the development will offer easy access to key employment centres and lifestyle destinations across Singapore.
Alongside Northpoint City and North Park Residences, both developed by Frasers Property, the redevelopment of Yishun 10 reflects the company's continued commitment to creating vibrant, connected and liveable communities in Yishun Central.
Yishun 10 will continue to be managed by Frasers Property, with operations expected to cease on 2 March 2027.
