SINGAPORE, 20 AUGUST 2026
Frasers Property Singapore today announced the conclusion of Every Step Forward, a month-long community campaign that brought the public to walk, run and cycle for a good cause. More than 3,600 participants clocked over 260,000 km from 17 July to 19 August 2026. Over $214,000 would go to Community Chest Singapore in support of seniors and persons with disabilities.
The campaign ran across Frasers Property’s retail, commercial and residential properties, drawing in employees, office and retail tenants, shoppers and residents. It supports Singapore’s efforts to build a more caring society as its population ages.
The campaign concluded today at the fifth Frasers Tower Vertical Challenge (FTVC), where Frasers Property presented the cheque to Community Chest. More than 550 participants of different abilities scaled the 39-storey, 235-metre Frasers Tower across the Inclusive, Competitive and Non-Competitive Challenge categories.
Guest-of-Honour, Senior Parliamentary Secretary Mr Eric Chua (SPS), Ministry of Law & Ministry of Social and Family Development, returned to grace the event for the third year running.
Ms Soon Su Lin, Chief Executive Officer, Frasers Property Singapore, presented a cheque for over $214,000 to Ms Pearlyn Tseng, Director, Philanthropic Partnerships, Community Chest Singapore, with SPS Eric Chua as witness at the Frasers Tower Vertical Challenge 2026.
“We are heartened by the community’s support for Every Step Forward. From employees and partners to tenants, shoppers and residents, each contribution has helped turn a simple act of movement into meaningful support for seniors and persons with disabilities. This is a reminder of the power we can collectively achieve when we come together with purpose,” said Ms Soon Su Lin, Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Singapore.
Supporting care and inclusion
Funds donated through Every Step Forward would benefit the Home Nursing Foundation and the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund, the latter being administered by SG Enable and supported by Mediacorp, via Community Chest Singapore. The proceeds would support programmes that provide essential care, social support and greater opportunities for inclusion, helping seniors and persons with disabilities live well and with dignity.
“Every Step Forward is a meaningful example of how businesses and communities can come together to create impact for those in need. Through Community Chest-supported programmes, 93% of persons with disabilities meet at least half their identified needs, and 218 have sustained employment for at least six months. We're grateful to Frasers Property Singapore, its partners, and all participants for turning everyday movement into tangible support that helps sustain this progress, while ensuring seniors also receive the care and counselling they need,” said Mr Jack Lim, Managing Director, Community Chest.
Frasers Property Singapore’s retail, commercial and residential communities also showed their support for the event through satellite activations held earlier in August, such as the Discover Bedok Gems heritage walk for residents of Sky Eden@Bedok and the Skechers x Swensens Ice Cream Run at Waterway Point.
Inclusion in action
This year’s Inclusive Challenge at the FTVC brought together persons with disabilities, including 10 Inclusion Champions (iChamps), and staff from SG Enable, alongside participants from the Young Men’s Christian Association and the Singapore Civil Defence Force. The Competitive Challenge also served as the Singapore leg of the international Towerrunning Tour 2026.
Mr Steve Tee, a Singapore Paralympian and tandem cyclist who has competed internationally since losing his sight to retinitis pigmentosa, was among the participants who scaled Frasers Tower’s 1,256 steps.
"Taking part in the Frasers Tower Vertical Challenge for the first time is meaningful because every step upward represents courage, opportunity and inclusion. What makes this event special is seeing people of different abilities, backgrounds and life experiences climbing towards the same goal and encouraging one another. Every Step Forward reminds us that inclusion is not about how fast or high we climb, but ensuring everyone has the opportunity to step forward, rise to the challenge and reach greater heights together," said Mr Tee.
Building inclusive communities
Every Step Forward supports Frasers Property’s priorities in community investment, health and wellbeing, and community engagement. Aligned with Singapore’s Enabling Masterplan 2030, the initiative reflects Frasers Property’s ongoing commitment to fostering stronger, more inclusive societies where individuals of all abilities can thrive.
“Our properties are not just buildings. They are the heart of the local neighbourhoods where people live, work, and play. This gives us a unique opportunity to bring people together in meaningful ways through our spaces. Initiatives such as Every Step Forward allow people to encourage and care for one another and help build more inclusive communities. Frasers Property will continue creating places and experiences where individuals of all ages and abilities feel welcome and supported,” said Ms Soon.
