Princess Anne visits Chineham Park

The new premises of CGC Technology, the custom engineering solutions provider, based here on Chineham Park was given the royal seal of approval when Princess Anne opened their facility recently.

 

As part of CGC Technology’s expansion, Her Royal Highness was the guest of honour at Unit 1 Beechwood on the Park where she officially opened their new facility.

 

 

 

 

 

During the visit, Princess Anne was given a tour of their new premises by CEO Dr Mark Gardener and met with engineers, designers, buyers and staff to learn more about the company, which specialises in the design and manufacture of a comprehensive range of satellite communications. CGC Technology was awarded The Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2016, one the highest accolades for business success, for demonstrating growth in overseas earnings.

Princess Anne was also welcomed to Basingstoke by the Mayor and Mayoress of Basingstoke and Deane, councillors Paul and Jane Frankum and Basingstoke’s MP Maria Miller.
