Tampines 1 will be celebrating the successful completion of its asset enhancement initiative (AEI) with a fashion-themed launch event on 12 October.
To mark this milestone, Tampines 1 will host a two-day fashion runway event titled “Style, Redefined” on 12 and 13 October, featuring fresh collections from the mall’s fashion tenants donned by fashion influencers, models, and artistes. Several lucky participants will be selected for a complimentary makeover and can strut down the catwalk in style. With a minimum spending of S$300, shoppers can secure a pass to witness the stylish spectacle showcasing brands like adidas, ALUXE, Anothersole, By Invite Only, G2000, Love & Bravery, Sa Sa, Sephora, The Closet Lover and The Editor’s Market.
This event is part of Tampines 1’s #StyleRedefined campaign, which aims to elevate the retail experience at the mall through a series of community-centric activities and promotions held from September to 3 November 2024.
The rejuvenated mall offers 68 refreshed retail offerings, including 12 new-to-market concepts with a strong focus on homegrown Singapore brands. This would bring the mall’s total mix of local and international fashion, lifestyle, and dining options to nearly 200, enhancing the retail scene in the heartland of Singapore’s Tampines town.
Located next to Tampines MRT station and bus interchange, the five-storey retail mall with two basement levels spans a total net lettable area of 277,968 square feet. It is owned by Frasers Centrepoint Trust and managed by Frasers Property Singapore.
Ms Maggie Chua, Head of East Cluster, Retail Properties, Frasers Property Singapore said: “Our strategy at Tampines 1 focuses on anticipating new trends and celebrating our local brands, so as to create a vibrant retail and recreational experience. Through a thoughtfully curated mix of international and local fashion, lifestyle and dining brands as well as bringing in first-to-market concepts, we aim to provide a unique and differentiated shopping experience in the heartland. With the rejuvenated Tampines 1 mall, alongside our Century Square mall, we are realising our vision of offering an exciting and holistic shopping experience that has something in store for everyone, further enhancing the vibrancy of Tampines town and Singapore’s eastern region.”
Introducing novel concepts and celebrating homegrown brands
Tampines 1’s revamped tenant mix has been tailored to fashion-forward shoppers and lifestyle enthusiasts. The mall has also debuted unique concepts, including the chic nail salon Quinzel, which offers halal and wudhu-friendly nail polishes and services for a comfortable and inclusive experience and HUES by Full House Salon, a mother-daughter business which started in the heart of Tampines that offers colour analysis.
These services complement the suite of influential homegrown brands, some of which have expanded internationally. These include By Invite Only, From There On, Love, Bonito, The Closet Lover and The Editor’s Market, that cater to the diverse palate of today’s shoppers, from sustainable jewellery to minimalist and trendy fashion.
Tampines 1 is set to excite food enthusiasts with an array of new culinary concepts. Brands like Peranakan-cuisine aficionados Sinpopo Coffee and premium matcha dessert chain 108 Matcha Saro have opened their first heartland outlets at the mall.
The mall also features a wealth of innovative new-to-market dining concepts, including Haruyama Udon by the COLLIN’S Group, Seorae Group’s halal Korean food concept Namu Bulgogi, Roman-Kan by Fruit Paradise, and Wine Connection’s S.O.S Chicken.
This diverse selection reflects Tampines 1’s commitment to making unique culinary experiences more accessible to the community while serving as a vibrant destination for all.
