More than 50 staff volunteers from Frasers Property Retail’s mall and corporate office showed their support for SG Clean Day by volunteering their time to keep the malls clean.
Frasers Property Retail partnered with the Public Hygiene Council (PHC) in its Quarterly SG Clean Day initiative, with six of its malls1 ceasing sweeping activities at selected areas within the malls from 6am to 10pm on 30 October 2022, Sunday.
Mr Tan Kee Yong, Chief Operating Officer, Frasers Property Retail said, “Our customers’ experience is important to us and providing a safe and enjoyable experience is one of the ways in which we elevate this experience. We are supportive of this initiative by the Public Hygiene Council, as a lot of work goes on behind the scenes, and our frontline staff play a huge role in upkeeping our hygiene and customer service standards.”

The initiative, which is aimed at raising public awareness on the amount of litter that piles up without cleaners’ intervention, provided cleaners with some respite from their daily cleaning routine. In support of this initiative and to ensure smooth operations, more than 50 staff from Frasers Property Retail’s corporate and mall management offices volunteered their time at the six participating malls1 on the day.
Mr Ng Wei Siang, Head of Operations, Frasers Property Retail said, “A little acknowledgement goes a long way, and we are glad that through this initiative, our cleaners can get public recognition of their hard work and contributions. This initiative also complements our internal efforts to show appreciation for our cleaners through get-together meals and award presentations.”
