Shoppers, tenants and staff work together to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Since hitting our shores earlier this year, COVID-19 has affected our lives in ways beyond our imagination. The Circuit Breaker that was introduced in April saw huge changes in the community, and the effects could be clearly seen at the malls. Despite the circumstances, our staff, tenants, and shoppers stood in solidarity together to overcome this crisis. Here are some heart warming stories of such acts.
Recognising our unsung heroes
As more shoppers visit our malls since the beginning of Phase 2, the well-being of our shoppers, tenants and staff remains our top priority. We continue to operate with enhanced health and safety management measures, and behind these processes are a team of unsung heroes who are serving shoppers on a daily basis, and going beyond to assist with safety measures to make sure everyone has a safe and pleasant retail experience!
We are encouraged by their resilience and commitment in keeping our malls safe and are heartened that their efforts did not go unnoticed by our shoppers. In this article, we want to take some time to recognise the numerous acts of kindness within our community, and express our heartfelt appreciation for these unsung heroes.

Mr Adrian Lee, a visitor at Causeway Point, sends his regards to security staff at the mall.
Ms Eunice Soh, a shopper at YewTee Point, compliments the temperature taking crew for their service excellence.
Besides these lovely testimonials, we were heartened by some of the surprise care packages that our frontline staff received from members of the public! As these staff have worked hard to ensure our shoppers and tenants are well supported throughout this period, these thoughtful gifts have certainly boosted the morale of our staff. We are grateful to the public for showing their sincere appreciation towards them.

Caring for our frontline staff
As our frontline staff work tirelessly to ensure that our malls remain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we are committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect their health and well-being. We have pledged close to $70,000 to purchase our first batch of made-in-Singapore masks from Razer. These masks, together with face shields, has been distributed to all tenants and frontline staff across the 14 malls.
Face shields provide both staff and tenants an added layer of protection on top of face masks.
In addition, our staff volunteers have distributed close to 800 care kits as a form of appreciation to our frontline staff during this difficult time. We have been touched by the selflessness of our frontline heroes, such as our security officers and cleaners, who go the extra mile for our community.
Staying connected through technology

With work-from-home being the norm for most companies, our office staff have adapted to the new working arrangement while staying connected with one another through texts or Zoom calls. To foster a collective spirit and continue to build strong work relationships despite the distance, our staff regularly shared snippets of their lives through Workplace, our corporate connectivity platform. These short but meaningful interactions go a long way in providing encouragement, motivation and spreading positivity for everyone!

As the battle against Covid-19 continues, let’s stand in solidarity and continue supporting one another. At Frasers Property Retail, we are committed to working alongside our tenants to provide a safe environment for our shoppers!
