It is an opportune time to bring families closer together this September, with the Mid-Autumn Festival and School Holidays just around the corner. As students take their term breaks from school, and families organise mooncake-eating sessions, the malls of Frasers Property are providing a little something for everyone. Bountiful varieties of the delicious round-shaped pastry are coming to shoppers this month, and fans of the beloved classics LEGO® and Little Twin Stars can also look forward to exploring new worlds with adventure-based activities. 

Merrymaking with mooncakes

From late August to 13 September, Causeway Point, Northpoint City, Waterway Point and YewTee Point are hosting Mid-Autumn Festival Mooncake Fairs!

Whether it is the silken texture of the snowskin mooncakes infused with interesting and experimental flavours, or the robust traditional lotus paste and chewy crust combination, shoppers will be spoilt for options from featured vendors such as Intercontinental, Tai Chong Kok, Mandarin Orchard and more.

Shoppers can complete their mid-autumn festivities with the legend of Chang-E and its accompanying characters at Waterway Point. They will have the opportunity to create their very own Chang-E and Jade Rabbit felt lanterns or hand puppets. With a minimum spend of $50 at Waterway Point, the first 60 shoppers can get their creative juices flowing and make the popular characters come to life on their artwork.

Take a break and explore the world and beyond

Students can take a well-deserved break this September during their school holidays, while keeping engaged and active with multiple events planned at the malls of Frasers Property.

First up at Waterway Point, aspiring intergalactic space travellers or deep-sea explorers can find themselves lost in the wild and fascinating world of LEGO^® City & Friends. The partnership between Waterway Point and LEGO^® will run from 9 to 15 September. Children will have to undergo a series of grueling test stations while navigating obstacles such as fast-moving asteroids or elaborate animal rescues to be exclusively certified as an Astronaut or Sea Life Rescuer. Children can choose between blasting off to Mars while making stopovers at space stations or think of ways to rescue their animal friends at the LEGO^® Friends sites.

Over at The Centrepoint, Little Twin Stars have arrived to bring everyone on a travel adventure! From 9 to 15 September, Shoppers are invited to use their Dreamy Star Travel Card at the mall to collect as many stamps as possible. Attractive prizes await once children and their families navigate the different dream stations such as Do-It-Yourself tote-bag stamping as well as Kiki and Lala themed play zones and photo zones.

Shoppers can put their encyclopedic minds to the test as they try to figure out where the bubbly duo is travelling to from the clues in The Centrepoint Facebook page. Five (5) lucky contestants to identify the correct locations will win themselves a $50 Frasers Property Digital Gift Cards. The Centrepoint is also calling all twins to dress in their best sparkly and shiny outfits for the Twin Party Contest on 14 September. The contest is looking to find three pairs of twins whose outfits complement each other and outshine the rest of the participants. These three best-dressed pairs of twins will walk away with $100 Frasers Property digital gift card each.

Unleashing the talent within

Eastpoint Mall is looking to unearth the next singing sensation at its first-ever Eastpoint Mall Talent Show. This contest presents a stellar opportunity for shoppers to showcase their musical abilities from singing to playing an instrument. People of all ages are welcome, and they can perform in duets, groups or even take the stage as soloists.

Auditions begin on Saturday, 14 September, with the competition proper being held on Sunday, 15 September. The first, second, and third placed contestants will win incredible prizes worth more than $7,000 sponsored by COURTS and Cristofori Music School. Entry fees are $5, and registrations are underway at the Customer Service Counter at Eastpoint Mall. In the lead up to crowning the first ever star at Eastpoint Mall, the rising prodigies from The Ballet and Music School and Cristofori Music School will be putting on captivating performances every day from 9 to 13 September.

Families at Bedok Point will be showcasing their talents of a different kind. Their amazing coordination and dexterity will be put to the test as the mall hosts different types of speed races catered to different categories. In the Toy Car Races, held from 9 to 15 September, children or adults pit themselves against each other to go full steam ahead with their toy cars. Those who are more adept with the two wheelers, can take part in the bicycle races from 7 to 13 October. Winners from both races can grab up to $3,000 worth of digital gift cards.
