Schools’ out and what better way to spend that extra family time than to develop new skills, beat those fitness goals and create new memories at the Malls of Frasers Property! Enriching activities have been lined up for shoppers to enjoy and indulge with their families, friends and loved ones.
Work up a sweat with the family!
Healthier people are happier people. The Centrepoint, Bedok Point, as well as Eastpoint Mall, have lined up a slew of fitness classes and competitions to offer a fun and successful fitness journey for those who have yet to meet their exercise targets for the year.
From 4 to 21 June, The Centrepoint will be conducting an extensive list of dance and exercise classes. Shoppers can learn to groove to New Vogue, Lindy Hop or K-Pop beats or take it down a notch with Slow Jazz. Those looking for more upbeat sessions can join in the Fight-Do and Zumba fitness classes conducted on other days.
For those looking to get their adrenaline pumping, Bedok Point is holding its very own Sports Day this June Holidays! Participants can test their mettle and prowess while being challenged at a whole spectrum of sports and fitness activities. The first 1,500 Sports Day participants who spend a minimum of $10 will win a $5 Digital Gift Card upon completion of the activities.
On 1 June, Bedok Point and Siglap South Community Centre will be jointly conducting two Kindness Luminous Workouts, consisting Kpop fitness and Zumba classes. The first 120 participants will also receive a goodie bag with a $5 Digital Gift Card. There will also be weekly fitness sessions every Monday and Wednesday from 3 June to 28 July, in addition to the Saturday sessions held currently.
From 10 to 13 June, shoppers can endeavour to reach the farthest distances possible in the Standing Broad Jump challenge. This challenge also brings back memories of IPPT for national servicemen to share with their families and friends. The first 650 shoppers ready to test the spring in their step will be rewarded with tenant vouchers ranging from $5 to $20, to spend away at Bedok Point.
A couple of MRT stops away, Eastpoint Mall will be hosting the Taekwondo Championships organised by Taekwondonomics. Exponents under the Taekwondonomics group will display their martial arts skills and admirable sportsmanship, and all are invited to be a part of this exciting annual event.
Immersive game experiences for all
This June holidays, Eastpoint Mall’s Treasure Hunt in-app game invites shoppers to embark on an interactive QR code scavenger hunt across the mall with family and friends. Shoppers will be tasked to explore and uncover secret prizes around the mall and get rewarded with attractive prizes till the end of June.
Playtime continues at Eastpoint Mall with the Virtual Reality (VR) games from 18 to 23 June. With minimum spending of $50, shoppers will get a game entry card which allows them to explore and complete three game stations. Kids will be thrilled with the chance to try out the rides and game stalls at the month-long Outdoor Carnival.
Those looking for an outdoor adventure over the holidays can also rejoice as the Eastpoint Holiday Boot Camp is back by popular demand. The Boot Camp returns with a bigger and better lineup of activities suitable for seven to twelve year olds. Learning has never been more delightful and engaging!
Northpoint City is the place to be for children seeking to push their creative boundaries. At the Play-Doh event, children can express their creativity by learning to mould their favourite figurines. With a minimum spend of $50, the first 200 Frasers Experience members and their children can discover the joy of cooking in a kitchen workshop, and even bring home their very own Play-Doh Bucket set worth $9.99. Life-sized Play-Doh characters will be roaming around the shopping mall, and families can join in for a picture.
Let The Fairytale Begin at The Centrepoint, which will be hosting an enchanting adventure for little princesses and princes from 7 to 16 June. Children will be invited to dress up as their favorite characters, and pose for that perfect Instagram shot in a dreamy Magical Kingdom’s Princess Pavilion. The three best dressed princesses and princes will walk away with a whopping $50 Digital Gift Card.
At The Princess Adventure, little girls will be picking up their Princess passbook and aim to complete their mystery quests. Every challenge completed will reward them with a coveted stamp, which they can use to redeem many exciting offers!
Anchorpoint is holding an immersive fruity experience with the Fruit Fest. Shoppers can test their reactions at the four game booths; Fruit Hunt, Fruit Puzzle, Fruits Drop and Berry Dart; as they attempt to win the cuddly fruit plushies.
Wonderful programmes to improve oneself and benefit others
The holidays are also a time for parents to have the opportunity to learn useful craftmaking skills in the Fabric Handicraft Workshop at The Centrepoint. Shoppers will be taught how to create unique woven coasters, carve rubber stamps, dye tote bags, and sew pouches. The sessions will run on 8, 9, 15 and 16 June, and these in-demand workshops are limited to 20 participants only. To register, shoppers need to spend a minimum of $30 in a single transaction.
Shoppers looking to create their very own keychains and DIY keychain hangers can head over to Changi City Point from 15 to 16 June and 22 to 23 June, or visit Waterway Point on 22 and 23 June. With a minimum spend of $30 in the same three-day transaction, Changi City Point shoppers can book a slot for and attendance is capped at 20. Waterway Point will be conducting these workshops on a first-come-first-serve basis for the first 30 shoppers.
Shoppers with skilled craftsmenship can try their hand at the Marvellous Multi-Craft Jam at YewTee Point. By spending $20 in a maximum of two same-day transactions, shoppers can gain insights into making glass terrariums and creating tote bag art. This programme is open on 22, 23 and 28 June, to some 30 lucky participants each session.
Expand culinary horizons at Northpoint City, where shoppers can learn from the masterful Putien and Little Tasty Yard chefs. In the Cooking with Love programme conducted on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 21 July, the culinary experts will be conducting easy-to-learn cooking demonstrations. Additionally, shoppers can learn more about healthier meal preparation with cooking tips from the Health Promotion Board. It is food galore for shoppers in Northpoint City, with a food fair featuring F&B retailers from both North and South wings. Up from 16 to 21 July, A Tasteful Affair is held in conjunction with the Singapore Food Festival.
The Hair for Hope event, occurring on 16 June, is the Children’s Cancer Foundation signature outreach event in Singapore, that encourages participants to shave their hair to raise funds and awareness for children suffering from cancer. Waterway Point is honoured and heartened to once again play a part as a venue sponsor of event, which is organised by Punggol Sapphires Residents’ Committee of Punggol West.
Learning and growing while having fun with the family
Dinosaurs are roaming the earth once again at the Malls of Frasers Property in the Epic Dino Fun event, as life-sized dinosaur replicas are on display at YewTee Point and Causeway Point. Along with snapping a picture of indomitable creatures such as the Triceratops, shoppers can discover more about the extinct animals at a fossil exhibition. There will be story-telling sessions about dinosaurs for children to widen their imagination and explore their fascination with these magnificent beasts. The children can even be a dinosaur for a day, creating their own Dino Tails and Dinosaur Hats at the DinoCraft Workshops. To cap off the captivating dino experience, the malls are holding screenings of popular classics, such as A Good Dinosaur, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Last but definitely not least, the Malls of Frasers Property have not forgotten about the dads! In an effort to show appreciation this Father’s Day, Bedok Point is offering free haircuts at Kcut, to the first 100 fathers who spend a minimum of $20 at the mall.
