It has been a busy year for all of us at Frasers Property Singapore. As 2018 draws to a close, here’s a recap on the key highlights of our year.
1. Strong year for Residential
Our Residential team achieved strong sales from our premium sea-front development, Seaside Residences. North Park Residences and Parc Life EC were also fully sold, and received their Temporary Occupation Permits.
2. Completion of Frasers Tower
In January, Frasers Tower, our 38-storey development in the heart of the Central Business District that features four unique community zones and a host of exciting F&B outlets, topped out with over 70% pre-commitment. Fast forward to December, the 92% leased property is fully operational and is now a vibrant new addition to area.

3. Rejuvenating China Place
Our pilot Business Improvement District (BID) programme for the China Place precinct has been accepted by URA.
We have joined forces with other asset owners in the area to form the China Place Task Force which will be chaired by our very own Mr Low Chee Wah, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of our Retail and Commercial Division. He shared more about the placemaking initiative here.
4. Alexandra Technopark nears AEI completion
Following its S$45 million transformation, Alexandra Technopark (ATP) has been refreshed with a contemporary look and equipped with a wider range of amenities and facilities such as futsal courts, barbeque pits, function room and end-of-trip facilities.
Using placemaking initiatives to create more community-friendly spaces, ATP now embodies the ‘work and play’ concept with various lifestyle, fitness and wellness activities to cater to the modern workforce.
5. Celebrating Northpoint City’s official opening
We celebrated the opening of Northern Singapore's first and largest integrated development, Northpoint City, with the traditional "awakening of the lions" ceremony in November.
6. Restocking our landbank
We successfully won the site at Jiak Kim Street in December 2017. This highly-sought after waterfront site, rich in history and heritage, is located along the Singapore River. We expect to launch this mixed-development project in the first half of 2019.
7. Innovating with purpose
We launched our new multi-featured app, Frasers Experience (FRx) in November. A revamp of the existing Frasers Rewards app, the new app provides an enhanced experience for all customers, with an expanded rewards catalogue, e-gifting options and the exclusive digital F&B concierge service, Makan Master.
8. Industry recognition
At Frasers Property Singapore, we don’t just develop buildings. We develop destinations where people connect and communities flourish. 2018 was an excellent year for us, filled with various awards that recognised our work in the industry.
Some of the notable awards include:
9. Charting the course for 2019
As the year drew to a close, our CEO Christopher Tang held a townhall with Singapore team leads in mid-December where he shared about the Singapore business unit’s performance for the year, as well as plans for 2019.
In particular, Christopher expressed his appreciation for the collective skills and experience of the Frasers family, which enabled the unit to deliver steady results despite the challenging conditions. He shared on the importance of future-proofing the organisation and our people by streamlining our work processes, investing in up-skilling our human capital and continuing to create a collaborative culture across teams.
10. A festive end to the year
A tie-up with the hugely popular Cartoon Network series, We Bare Bears marks the start of a beary Merry Christmas with Frasers Property Singapore. As part of the Christmas festivities, ‘The Pawfect Journey’, an interactive in-mall QR code scavenger hunt was also introduced. Find out more here.
