Frasers Property Singapore kicks off its Mid-Autumn celebrations with action-filled events throughout September, offering families a variety of activities across the island. Starting with Mid-Autumn fairs, shoppers get to indulge in an array of sumptuous traditional and modern mooncakes to welcome the festive period. While keeping their stomachs full, F1TM enthusiasts can get immersed with the 2018 Renault Sport F1TM Showcase and challenge themselves at the Virtual Reality Pit-Stop Challenge. Even with all these thrills and spills for the adults, the young ones have not been forgotten as they have their very own joy ride with Thomas and FriendsTM! With all these activities and more, there is something for everyone at the malls of Frasers Property during this heart-warming festival.
Magical Mid-Autumn Festival
Shoppers are in for a treat in the month of September as Mid-Autumn festivities kick off at the malls of Frasers Property. An exquisite selection of mooncakes from over 40 local and international vendors including renowned hotels and brands will be available. Shoppers who love to explore their creative side can also get a hands-on experience with Mid-Autumn Themed Craft Workshops at Eastpoint Mall and Waterway Point.
The magical Mid-Autumn continues at YewTee Point where shoppers can participate in mooncake-making workshops and take part in a lantern making competition by PrimaDéli. Shoppers can also join in Harvest Moon Games such as ‘Hou Yi and the 9 Suns’ and ‘The Jade Rabbit’ from 14 to 16 September and stand to win dining vouchers. An Oriental Magic Spectacular will enthral shoppers on 16 September as a magician dons traditional Chinese costumes and performs oriental magic acts such as Chinese Linking Rings to form shapes of lanterns, flower balls and colourful parasols.
Get on the Fast Lane
A sizzling September awaits shoppers at Northpoint City as the F1TM fever hits Singapore. The Renault Sport Formula OneTM Team will showcase their prototype car and host a range of exhilarating activities including the Virtual Reality Pit-stop Challenge. The showcase will be from 10 to 16 September at Level 1, North and South Atriums. Fans of Renault’s Nico Hülkenberg will get the opportunity to get up-close with him at an exclusive Meet-and-Greet session on 12 September from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at Level 1, South Atrium. Snag a personal autograph and stand a chance to compete with the man himself in the Virtual Reality Pit-stop Challenge.
Kids who love cars and thrills are in for a treat as the miniature F1TM pedal car racetrack and bumper car arena await them. With a minimum spend of $30, shoppers can enjoy a free ride in the bumper cars.
While Punggol might be at the end of the North-East Line, the journey does not end there. From 29 August to 9 September, shoppers can head down to Waterway Point for Thomas & FriendsTM Big World! Big Adventures! Hop aboard the train-ride for an exciting global adventure, meet life-sized replicas of Thomas and his friends, and trek through a fun obstacle maze. After that, wind down and enjoy never-before-seen videos in a cosy mini beanbag theatre!
Over at Changi City Point, shoppers looking for more active options can get fit and squeeze a two-hour Zumba & K-pop fitness class on 29 September from 6pm to 8pm. What’s more – the first 100 participants will receive an exclusive goodie bag. Shoppers can also take part in the latest trend of working out through Virtual Reality and KINECT! It’s a Digital Workout Week from 1 to 7 October where shoppers can participate in various workout stations including Just Dance, KINECT Adventure, and Track & Field.
Great news for beauty junkies! Sephora is opening its first ever store in the North of Singapore. From 21 to 23 September, shoppers can head down to Causeway Point for Sephora Street Party featuring a jam-packed weekend of activities including special appearances by well-loved DJs, flash makeovers, workshops, and sure-win lucky dips!
The fun continues over at The Centrepoint with a Warner TV Escape Room Challenge from 3 to 9 September. With ‘escape rooms’ themed after popular TV shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Gotham and Lethal Weapon, shoppers can expect lots of fun as they solve puzzles from their favourite TV shows with their loved ones and score themselves exclusive Warner TV gifts!
