Here are some highlights of two events held this month to celebrate our recent success and collaborative team spirit.
Seaside Residences celebrates rewarding collaborations
A special lunch was organised by the Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s Development and Property, Sales & Marketing team, for the successful launch of Seaside Residences. Since its launch in April 2017, over 80% of the 560 released units in Seaside Residences have been sold making the development among the top sellers for the first quarter of 2017.

Said Cheang Kok Kheong, Head of Development & Property, Frasers Centrepoint Singapore, “We wanted to express our thanks to the team and consultants for the hard work they had put into the project. Together, we achieved great results and we wanted to celebrate that with everyone. It was an enjoyable session of bonding with the staff and catching up with the consultants as well.”
Fiona Bartholomeusz, Managing Director from formul8 Pte Ltd, a creative agency commented, “It’s a fantastic initiative by the Frasers Centrepoint Singapore team to organize the gathering as rarely do partners get this level of acknowledgement from clients on the back of such a successful launch. The thoughtful gesture to pull the partners together gave us an opportunity to put a name to some of the faces and be able to look back and relive some of those moments.”

Bonding over the “King of Fruits”
Meanwhile another celebration was also taking place. Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s Commercial Properties team was enjoying a team building session over durians. There was also a platter of other fruits such as mangosteens, watermelons and honeydew.
Held in the late afternoon of 27 July, in a casual open-air setting, about 40 staff started feasting on durians as they mingled and took the opportunity to catch-up with team members who are based at different properties around the island. Among those at the event were staff from the corporate office, 51 Cuppage Road, 55 Market Street, Alexandra Point, China Square Central, Robertson Walk and Valley Point.
Marlina Bte Abdullah, Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s Assistant Centre Manager at Valley Point said, “This is a very nice gathering with our colleagues. I enjoy durians very much, although they are very high in cholesterol. I especially prefer those that are bitter and a little bit sweet cos that’s when I feel the ‘umph’.”
Chan Wen Say, who newly joined Frasers Centrepoint Singapore as Centre Executive at China Square Central, said it was her first time attending a durian gathering with colleagues. Wen Say revealed she had a special relationship with durians, “My family used to have a durian farm in Johor and we grew kampong-style durians. I enjoy my durians bitter, just like the way I enjoy my kopi kosong.”
Alison Wong, General Manager (Commercial Properties), said, “It was an enjoyable session and it was great to bring the team together like this to bond and connect with one another.”
