Christmas is a festive time where families and friends look forward to bonding over gift-giving and fun activities. This year, celebrations have officially kicked off and Frasers Centrepoint Singapore is ushering in the festivities beyond the usual jazzy Christmas trees, psychedelic lights and ornaments.

Inspired by the highly-anticipated blockbuster movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, to be released this December, we gathered our forces to create a fully immersive experience in our malls, in-stores, and even online!
Fans can stoke their Star Wars fever as we deck out our malls with installations that will delight sci-fi, galactic and movie lovers, young and old this festive season.
The Force is strong
Kicking off the galactical-themed festivities full-force on 16 November, the official launch saw over a hundred Jedis, Sith Lords and other STAR WARS™ characters congregate at The Centrepoint. The impressive gathering set a record for Singapore’s Largest Gathering of People Dressed as STAR WARS™ Characters in the Singapore Book of Records.

This Christmas, shoppers at our malls get transported to a universe involving life-sized dioramas, custom STAR WARS™ character costumes, as well as exciting virtual reality experiences that involves interacting with the adorable BB-8 droid.
The Centrepoint’s iconic red façade underwent a visually remarkable transformation with the help of the Force.
Photo opportunities aplenty! Families and friends are encouraged to snap a photo against the movie scene-inspired backdrops and platforms we curated from the STAR WARS™ movie.
Christmas trees are known to make an impression during the festive holidays and we were not about to neglect that! This year we set up a massive 7.5-metre-tall Christmas tree meticulously adorned with sparkling BB-8 and Stormtrooper baubles, and vigilantly guarded by four life-sized Stormtroopers.
Fret not, heartlanders! Our roving experiential installation is slated to tour nine of Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s malls and will make its last appearance at Northpoint City from 19 to 24 December, so find out which one is the closest to you here before they're gone!
A Galactic Party under the stars
With the new Star Wars movie approaching theatres, there are also upcoming movie screenings of the previous STAR WARSTMepisode,Star Wars: The Force Awakensat Waterway Point and Changi City Point for shoppers to get into the galactic mood with their friends and family.
Shoppers who missed the earlier screenings still have the chance to do so on 31 December at Waterway Point as they usher in the new year. The Galactic Party will be complete with STAR WARS TMphoto booth, art and craft activities, food, and everyone dressed up as their favourite Star Wars character
Naughty or Nice; battle it out at our Galactic Arenas
From now till 24 December, an experiential galactical Christmas await shoppers at The Centrepoint and eight other Frasers Centrepoint malls, where they accomplish missions at the arenas to win prizes via our Frasers Rewards Galactic Passport. Our in-app game enables users to traverse inter-galactic arenas across our malls with ease to fulfil their missions.
Pledge your allegiance to The Resistance or The First Order at Eastpoint Mall!
Be transported into the STAR WARS™ universe with spectacular TIE fighters from the Imperial fleet flying overhead at the atriums of Eastpoint Mall and Waterway Point.
Shoppers at Anchorpoint trying their hands at the Droid Maze – BB-8: Powered by a mobile application, shoppers are tasked to manoeuvre the BB-8 across the maze by using their smartphones.
Droid Doc VR Experience: Shoppers will be transported to a galaxy far away with the Droid Doc VR Experience where they can meet and interact with BB-8.
Happening at Waterway Point from 12 to 17 December, Flight Academy – Drone Activity: Fly that Millennium Falcon drone and combat the dark forces of the Galactic Empire.
Transporting the Star Wars experience beyond reality
Beyond indulging in our in-mall and in-stores activities, shoppers were also able to participate in some of our online contests.
From 20 to 30 November, 50 lucky shoppers who snapped selfies with the elusive Praetorian Guard in roaming our malls each won a pair of tickets to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi on 13 December 2017 at Waterway Point.
After a year's break, shoppers were encouraged to do their part and vote for The Centrepoint for its spectacular STAR WARS™ universe for the annual Best Dressed Building Contest in Orchard Road.
As we anticipate the results of the contest which will be revealed on 15 December, here's wishing YODA best Christmas!
