A team of 26 marketers from 12 Frasers Centrepoint Malls embarked on a social media learning journey at an engaging Content Generation and Community Management workshop, held on 10 and 18 April 2017.
Marketers from Frasers Centrepoint Malls embarked on a social media learning journey and workshop as part of Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s digital transformation.
As part of Frasers Centrepoint Singapore’s digital transformation and continual upskilling efforts, the workshop focused on polishing skill sets critical to the management of social media assets in today’s context. The aim of the workshop was also to gear up our teams to take social media management in-house and improve the way we reach our customers in an age of rapidly evolving communication tools.
The participants shared new insights, brainstormed fresh ideas, and gained a better understanding of how to improve the effectiveness of their social media strategy, from enhancing the quality of their content to increasing the effectiveness of their media budgets.
They walked away with a deeper understanding of content curation and digital performance metrics, enabling them to better plan their strategies according to their own marketing goals.
“It was a great learning experience. I can apply what I have learnt here and perhaps also improve on our existing practice for upcoming campaigns. Now I know how to effectively target specific groups as well,” said Christine Tan from The Centrepoint.
Nicole Lem from Causeway Point also added that “the most useful part was understanding how to maximise the reach of our posts on our platforms. We learnt how to tailor our targeting strategy according to our campaigns to really maximise the reach of our social media campaigns.”
At the end of the session, marketers from Waterway Point, Christina Ser and Lorraine Tan shared about their experience, “There were tips on how to understand behavioural patterns and the case studies shared on positive and negative posts were helpful. So, we are now more aware of what to avoid and the better alternatives to use. We also gained tremendous insight at this workshop such as how to promote our campaigns to the targeted audience, how to generate quality content and when to post them.”
