We also maintain the property on an ongoing basis — we have to understand how our customers work, and what they need to succeed,” said Emily Blagden, Asset Manager at Frasers Property Industrial, whose customers range from logistics and distribution companies to manufacturers.

 

Apart from having an attention to detail, being flexible and future-focussed are also key. For instance, “if they need to expand or change the size of their premises, we accommodate as best we can”, Emily added. These efforts align closely with our industrial business unit’s commitment to creating long-term sustainable assets that offer value, helping businesses find a place for the future.

Other ways the team adds value is by inviting tenants to celebratory lunches on their fifth and tenth anniversaries, and free events such as wellness roadshows throughout the year. On-site inspections, annual customer surveys, and regular check-ins give a fuller perspective of tenants’ evolving needs.

 

Our team does its best to accommodate customers’ changing business requirements. Emily cited the example of American electronics firm TTI, for whom Frasers Property built a 41,000 sqm warehouse in the Sydney suburb of Eastern Creek in 2015. To help TTI meet its expansion needs, Frasers Property built a 74,000 sqm warehouse at premium industrial estate The YARDS in nearby Kemps Creek. Completed in 2023, the shed was the very first building in the estate.

To that end, our industrial estates have worked to obtain green certifications from the Green Building Council of Australia, and all new facilities come with solar panels installed.

Our tenants and their employees have spaces and amenities that make them feel at home. New tenants are greeted with crockery, toilet paper and a coffee cart or breakfast truck when they move in.
