Frasers Property Limited (“Frasers Property”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) today announced that Ms Eu Chin Fen will step down as Chief Executive Officer, Frasers Hospitality, effective 1 January 2027.
This transition follows the successful privatisation of Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) in 2025 and the subsequent completion of the FHT portfolio optimisation on 30 September 2026. With these strategic milestones achieved and the hospitality platform well positioned for its next phase of growth, Ms Eu has decided to transition her leadership responsibilities to pursue personal interests. Over the coming months, Ms Eu will work closely with the existing leaders to ensure a seamless handover.
To sharpen operational focus and support efforts to enhance real estate portfolio value, Frasers Hospitality's leadership structure will be strategically segmented, aligning with Group resources, and reporting into senior Group leadership:
Mr Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Chin Fen for her dedicated leadership and valuable contributions over the past 15 years. She has helped build a resilient global brand, established trusted partnerships and nurtured a strong hospitality executive team. Our evolved structure builds on that foundation by giving each part of the business clearer focus and optimised resources. Housing our Hospitality Investment & Asset Management within Group Investment under Tony aligns directly with our strategy to pursue an asset-light model for this sector, connecting our real estate platform to institutional capital and enabling us to grow our capital partnerships more dynamically. At the same time, empowering 2 our lodging business under Hang Song enables the team to scale our brands globally through management contracts. We wish Chin Fen the very best in her future endeavours.”
Since joining the Group in 2011, Ms Eu has played a central role in guiding the strategic growth of Frasers Hospitality. As part of the Group's capital-efficiency initiatives, she worked closely with Group leadership to deliver the S$2.1 billion FHT portfolio optimisation. This transaction unlocked the redevelopment potential of the Fraser Suites Singapore site into a premier mixed use riverfront destination, which will feature a new flagship 184-unit Fraser Suites serviced residence.
As CEO, Ms Eu focused on establishing a clearer distinction between the investments and operating platforms within Frasers Hospitality, while driving asset value creation through strengthened linkages between operation al drivers and property performance. Under her stewardship, Frasers Hospitality maintained strong industry recognition, including its 2025 induction into the TTG Travel Hall of Fame as 'Best Serviced Residence Operator'.
“It has been a privilege to lead Frasers Hospitality and work alongside such a dedicated, world class team. In an evolving travel landscape, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. By drawing on our deep extended-stay capabilities and staying true to our commitment of warm, intuitive hospitality, we elevated guest experiences across our properties with a genuine culture of care,” said Ms Eu Chin Fen. “I leave with full confidence that Frasers Hospitality is well-positioned for its next phase, supported by two proven leaders in Eric and Hang Song. I will work closely with them and the rest of the leadership team over the next few months to ensure a seamless transition.”
