Frasers Property Vietnam, one of the country’s leading diversified real estate developers, and SPX Express (SPX), a leading logistics partner in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil, have broken ground on SPX’s automated sorting centre in Industrial Centre Yen My in Hung Yen province. The groundbreaking follows the strategic collaboration signed between the two companies earlier this year, marking their shared commitment to advancing modern and sustainable logistics infrastructure in Vietnam.
Set for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026 with operations commencing from 2027, the centre, designed by Frasers Property, will introduce a pioneering 170,000 sqm two-storey cross-dock logistics facility – Vietnam’s first built-to-suit development of its kind. Featuring 158 docks connected to over 700 sorting destinations, the innovative design enables fully independent traffic flows across two levels. This allows efficient simultaneous operations and reduces processing time. Once operational, the centre will be able to process up to 7 million parcels daily, becoming SPX’s largest automated sorting centre in Southeast Asia. Together with SPX’s extensive network of branches across 34 provinces and cities, along with 20 large-scale sorting centres with advanced automation, the new facility further reaffirms the company’s commitment to continuous innovation, ensuring faster, more reliable, and sustainable delivery services across the region.
Edwin Tan, Deputy CEO, Frasers Property Vietnam and Managing Director, Industrial & Logistics (Southeast Asia), said, “We are pleased to once again partner with SPX Express with this significant collaboration. Frasers Property’s proven track record in Vietnam has helped many multinationals establish and sustainably grow their manufacturing and supply chain footprint in the market. A built-to-suit project to the scale of SPX’s largest automated sorting centre in Southeast Asia is a testament to our commitment to deliver best-in-class solutions for our customers, helping them scale efficiently and capture new opportunities within the region.”
Quyen Tran, Director of SPX Express Vietnam, shared, “The Hung Yen sorting centre marks a significant milestone in SPX’s journey to strengthen its presence and support sustained growth in Vietnam. It reflects our commitment to building a faster, smarter, and more resilient logistics network that meets the evolving needs of consumers and businesses nationwide. Made possible through close collaboration with Frasers Property and strong support from government partners, this new centre underscores our commitment to building a more connected and sustainable digital economy in Vietnam.”

The new facility in Hung Yen follows the successful completion and handover of Frasers Property and SPX’s 106,000 sqm logistics facility in Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, further strengthening the long-term partnership and underscoring both companies’ commitment to expanding Vietnam’s logistics network across key economic regions. Together, the two landmark facilities in northern Hung Yen and southern Ho Chi Minh City form a strategic North-South logistics network, enhancing connectivity and setting a new benchmark for the country’s logistics landscape.
Beyond Hung Yen, Frasers Property has successfully delivered industrial developments in Bac Ninh and Quang Ninh, earning strong recognition and positive feedback from customers.
