BANGKOK, 8 JULY 2021   

The National Blood Center of the Thai Red Cross Society is facing a severe blood shortage due to COVID-19. Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited or “FPT”, a leading integrated real estate platform in Thailand, joins hands with the Thai Red Cross in its fifth blood donation drive at Samyan Mitrtown on 5 – 6 July 2021. The activity aims to supply sufficient blood and blood products for patients in need during this challenging period.

To ensure donating is as safe as possible for everyone, the blood donation activity follows the highest safety and infection control standards. All healthcare professionals and staff are vaccinated and tested for COVID-19 before the event. The donors are also required to adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all times.

171,900 CC of blood was collected from the blood donors, totalling the blood volume collected from the donations in 2021 to 389,250 CC. The next activity will be held in October 2021.
