New land release at five-minute Mambourin community

MELBOURNE, 5 JULY 2019

Frasers Property Australia has released 14 new land lots at Mambourin, its ‘five-minute’ community 40 kilometres west of Melbourne, with size and price ideal for buyers looking for flexibility and affordability.

The Merula Release, available to buyers now, includes lots ranging in size from 289 sqm to 528 sqm with a starting price of $220,000.

Fronting Black Forest Road, the lots are within metres of 5.4 hectares of future wetlands and an expansive community park and all positioned within the promised five-minute walk or drive to

Mambourin’s planned amenities. A future all-ages play area, fitness nodes, walking and cycling paths, shelters, barbecues and more will be within easy reach.

Mambourin is located on the edge of the urban growth boundary in Melbourne’s expanding west, on the existing Regional Rail Link between Werribee and Wyndham Vale.

The $440 million development will transform a 115 hectare land parcel into a thriving mixed-use community with city-style convenience that will be home to 3,500 residents.

Mambourin will offer an unparalleled level of connectivity and amenity, with plans for an exclusive resident’s club, a private school, a new train station, a major town centre, open space, library, kindergarten, a performing arts centre and a commercial business district.

Buyers have been eager to claim their piece of this new community since the initial launch in June last year. A number of stage releases have been brought forward to meet demand with more than 212 land lots now sold at Mambourin.

Sarah Bloom, General Manager – Residential Victoria, Frasers Property Australia says Mambourin has something for everyone.

“The range of options available in the Merula Release means greater choice for buyers. There are smaller land lots for people to invest for the future, while for first home buyers the price point represents an affordable entry into the property market,” Ms Bloom says.

“With just 14 lots available, it’s a great opportunity for people to secure their future in a community built on the foundations of convenience, wellbeing and sustainability.”

Construction of the exclusive Club Mambourin for residents is expected to start within months while building on the first homes is expected to start early in the new year. Residents will be able to shop locally as early as 2022 when the first shops in the town centre retail precinct are expected to open.

Plans for the Mambourin town centre include 25,000 sqm of retail floor space with a full-line supermarket, a discount department store, 30-40 specialty stores and a cinema/entertainment precinct.
