ECQ retailer case study: PHO EVER

SYDNEY, 16 JULY 2019

It’s all about the Eastern Creek Quarter vibe for Kevin Nguyen, owner-operator of the popular Pho Ever stores in Mount Druitt.

Kevin is preparing to open a new Pho Ever outlet in the new ECQ Social precinct at Frasers Property Australia’s ECQ later this year because he wants to be part of something unique to Western Sydney.

“The street food concept is something new and different to the western suburbs and we wanted to be represented. At the moment, in that area, there’s nowhere to go for a great relaxed bite to eat after 7pm. The local community deserves this kind of offer and we can’t wait to begin serving people from day one,” says Kevin.

“Eastern Creek Quarter is going to be a real destination dining experience not just for the local community but for people from all over, because there’s really nothing like it around.”

Established six years ago, Pho Ever is a true family business serving delicious, traditional Vietnamese street food in a family-friendly environment.

The ECQ outlet will have all the favourites covered: pho – obviously – as well as barbecued pork chops, crispy skin chicken, shaking beef, crispy egg noodle, vermicelli noodle salad and more.

“Our customers will get the full Pho Ever experience at ECQ in a cool, comfortable and fun setting. The design of the street food precinct, the connections to the natural parkland surroundings and the convenient access for customers will mean more options for locals at lunch and a more interesting nightlife for the whole area,” Kevin says.

Pho Ever at ECQ is on track for opening in line with the first stage of the new shopping centre in late 2019.

Woolworths has been secured as the anchor tenant at ECQ, with a full-line 3,800 sqm supermarket and BWS liquor store set to bring new levels of convenience to the Western Sydney community. A pharmacy, gym, childcare centre and medical centre are also expected to be among the first tenants.

ECQ will serve a large and growing catchment. It is within a 15-minute drive for 330,000 people and a 30- minute drive for 1.2 million people.

Frasers Property has achieved a 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built rating for the first stage of Eastern Creek Quarter, which represents world leadership in sustainable design.

The centre’s design responds to its location adjacent to Western Sydney Parklands by integrating facilities and amenities like community gardens and public BBQs that connect people with the natural bushland.

Retailers interested in a tenancy at Eastern Creek Quarter should call Frasers Property on 13 38 38 or visit www.frasersproperty.com.au/retail/nsw/eastern-creek/register.
