Frasers Property Australia has joined forces with not-for-profit social enterprise organisation Waverley Industries this Christmas to say thanks to up to 50 lucky residents of The Grove in Tarneit.

To ‘Share the Christmas Cheer’, locals can nominate a neighbour who has shown amazing compassion and community spirit through the COVID-19 pandemic to receive one of up to 50 Christmas hampers showcasing the finest products from local businesses.

With a range of artisan products such as jam, olives, and chocolate raspberry, Frasers Property is looking forward to presenting the hampers to deserving locals who exemplify the community spirit at The Grove, says Clare Swanson, Community Development Manager, Frasers Property Australia.

“Frasers Property understands the human side of property to create stronger, smarter, happier neighbourhoods,” Ms Swanson says.

“The Share the Christmas Cheer campaign encourages residents to nominate their neighbours for acts of kindness and gives them a chance to say ‘Merry Christmas’, ‘Thank you’ or just ‘Welcome to the neighbourhood’ with lovely, quality gifts from local Victorian businesses.

“We’ve seen and heard about many lovely acts of kindness over the months of lockdown. It’s a great opportunity for our residents to grow stronger bonds with each other and of course, we are supporting Waverley Industries and their hard-working staff by purchasing from a social enterprise.

“To nominate a neighbour, locals can simply fill out this form to share a short story about what that person has done to make their community better through a challenging year. We look forward to reading and sharing these heart-warming stories,” says Ms Swanson.
