PERTH, 16 JULY 2020
Frasers Property Australia and The Department of Communities will release 14 land lots and 13 turn-key house and land packages at East Green, with flexibility and affordability expected to attract strong buyer demand.
It’s a great opportunity for people to secure their future at East Green, which will transform vacant land in Greenwood into a vibrant new community ideally located just 17km from Perth’s CBD.
Named The Field Release, the initial sales launch includes 13 two-storey turn-key 2, 3 and 4 bedroom house and land packages priced from $375,000 to $527,000. The 14 land lots range in size from 208 sqm to 368 sqm with a starting price of $224,000. Importantly, certificates of titles have been received for all 27 lots to coincide with the sales launch.
Buyers have shown keen interest in East Green since registrations of interest opened in March, with more than 1,100 expressions of interest received to date.
Due to this strong level of interest, a system has been put in place to ensure all buyers have a fair chance to secure their preferred house and land package or land lot in the highly sought-after location.
“The timing of the release couldn’t be better with the WA Government recently announcing a $20,000 Building Bonus1 for any West Australian to build a new home,” says Tod O’Dwyer, General Manager Development WA, Frasers Property Australia.
“This bonus will complement the Federal Government’s HomeBuilder scheme which provides people $25,0002 to build a new home valued at or below $750,000. There are substantial savings available for new home builders right now.
“Eligible first home buyers can access even further savings through WA’s First Home Owner Grant and first home buyer duty concessions3. This means first home buyers who qualify for all four grants and concessions could access up to $69,440 in Government assistance to help build their dream home.
“As such, based on initial enquiry levels, demand is expected to be intense. Buyers will need to be quick to secure a piece of East Green, a community created on the foundations of convenience, wellbeing and sustainability,” Mr O’Dwyer says.
The masterplan for the 3.86 hectare site allows flexibility in land and building options and ensures greater choice for those looking to call East Green home.
Buyers can purchase land and build their own dream home, or choose from a selection of pre-designed two-storey homes with two, three and four-bedroom configurations. The turn-key house and land package homes are designed by New Level Homes. Most have picturesque views and access to the recently completed East Green landscaped parkland and playground.
When complete, East Green will accommodate between 80 and 100 new homes, all within a naturally picturesque location. Civil works on the land lots is now complete, paving the way for building to begin, while the community’s central park and open space is now open and available for the whole Greenwood community to enjoy.
Inspired by people and place, the new parkland has been designed to connect people to each other and the natural environment. A meandering pedestrian path connects active exercise spaces, a BBQ station, a playground and picnic areas, creating a peaceful environment to relax, meet and play.
When complete, East Green residents will enjoy the convenience of living in a new community with established infrastructure, surrounded by amenity, health support services, schools and sports facilities, with bus stops, train stations and key arterial roads all nearby.
The East Green sales centre is located at 63 Mulligan Drive, Greenwood, and is open seven days from 10am to 5pm. Interested buyers can call 13 38 38, email contactcentre@frasersproperty.com.au, or visit www.eastgreen.com.au for more information.
